The coaching staff of the Atom Major AA 06’s would like to
congratulate the players and families on achieving our goal of winning the
Bluewater AA play-down championship. Coaching is a privilege, our staff fully
recognizes this. It’s been fun to sit back and watch the boys play with the
passion they’ve shown during this past month.
This huge accomplishment was made possible because of the
heart, determination and teamwork displayed on and off the ice by your 06
Sabres.

The Blue Water regular season has come to an end. The Sabres battled hard all year long to earn the 1st seed heading into AA Play-downs. This is the first time the 06's have earned the #1 spot and should be very proud of their accomplishment.
With steady progress and excellent team play you have made the coaches very proud.
Now the "Heavy Lifting" starts boys.

The Sabres faced:
#1 Ranked AA team in Missouri
(#4 in the country) (Affton Americans) (L 7-0)
#4 Ranked AA team in Illinois (#9 in the country) (Chicago Jets) (L 3-2)
#20 Ranked AA team in Illinois (#69 in the country) (Orland Park) (T 6-6)
#1 Ranked AA team in Michigan (#26 in the country) (Compuware) (W 6-3)
#2 Ranked AA team in Michigan (#27 in the country) (Troy Sting) (W 2-1)
