Nations Cup Champions!
Submitted By Adam McIndoo on Monday, November 27, 2017
Peewee Minor AA's were successful in winning their second tournament of the season.

The Nations Cup was won jointly with Streetsville Tigers, Flamborough Sabres, Halton Hills Thunder, Belle River Jr Canadians, Soo Jr Greyhounds, and Windsor Jr Spitfires. The Canadian side won with a commanding 23 to 5 point final round. Our team played the St.Jude Knights from Chicago beating them 4-1 in the Championship game. Excellent play by the team throughout the entire weekend beating St.Jude's 2-1 and Steel City Renegades 4-3 while tying Chicago Bruins (Watson) 4-4 and their only lose of the tournament with the Chicago Jets 5-1 in the round robin. They relied on trusting your teammates, sacrificing individual needs for the benefit of the group, sticking up for a teammate, understanding what it takes to win, realizing that consistent hard work and skating all the time is what it takes to win.
