Irish Cup Champions!
Peewee minor AA's were successful in winning their first tournament of the year in South Bend Indiana at the University of Notre Dame.
It was a team effort to say the least. Every player contributed. Starting with the excellent play of our goalie's and terrific play by the team in our defensive end we only allowed 6 goals in 5 games.
90% of our goals were scored by plays created out of our end due in part to a combined whole team approach of 6 players contributing on every play.
We witnessed so many of them this weekend dig deep and come out with a little more effort when the tank was pretty near empty to catch someone or make a play.
You win with good people. That's what we have on this team, good players, good coaches, great family members and the many great Sabres friends that stuck around to see the game.
