A huge congratulations to the U11A LaSalle Sabres for their incredible performance and championship win at the Halton Hills Best of the Best tournament this weekend! This victory makes them back-to-back tournament champions! The team put on a dominant show, finishing with a perfect 6-0 record. It was a fantastic weekend that included not just great hockey, but also fun team activities and a memorable Thanksgiving dinner together. Way to go, Sabres!

Congratulations to the players and coaches on a great weekend in Halton Hills. They return to LaSalle as Back-to-Back, 'Best of the Best' Champions, defeating Talbot Trail 3-2 in overtime.

The Georgian Bay Islanders hosted their first annual early bird tournament September 19-21, 2025 and the 2016s are the first ever U10A Champions of the tournament.

Thank you to all the players who came out for tryouts and to the parents/guardians for supporting them. I told the kids on the ice yesterday: "Whether you made the team or not, it’s the experience of trying out that matters. It takes courage to step on the ice and put yourself out there. For those who didn’t make the team this time, don’t let it discourage you—let it push you to keep working toward the next opportunity. I’ve been in your shoes and didn’t make the cut every time either. Keep at it, and your time will come."
