Thank you to all the players who came out for tryouts and to the parents/guardians for supporting them. I told the kids on the ice yesterday: "Whether you made the team or not, it’s the experience of trying out that matters. It takes courage to step on the ice and put yourself out there. For those who didn’t make the team this time, don’t let it discourage you—let it push you to keep working toward the next opportunity. I’ve been in your shoes and didn’t make the cut every time either. Keep at it, and your time will come."

To all players and families, I would like to thank everyone who came out to the U7 Select tryouts.  It was great to see the hard work and dedication shown throughout the process. I was truly impressed with the positive attitudes and effort put forth by the players. Selecting the final roster was not an easy task, we had some very difficult decisions to make and everyone who tried out should be proud of themselves.  For those not selected, we understand this is disappointing.  We strongly encourage you to stay positive, keep playing, and continue working toward your goals. I'd like to thank all those who attended the U15 Selects tryouts last Monday and Friday - all evaluators and coaches noted significant skill and talent amongst all who attended. This made the selection process very challenging. The final U15 Select Tryout will take place on Monday, September 20th at 8pm, Vollmer Rink A. For those not on the return list, I encourage you to continue building your hockey skills through hard work and dedication to this sport. Parents and Players, Our 2025/2026 Select Team Tryouts are in progress.  The association would like to thank the Head Coaches who have stepped up to coach these teams for us. The board wanted to communicate the following information to you all so that everyone understand the tryout and selection process and expected ice availability for the season.  Our scheduler has been hard at work to make this program as optimal as possible for all who are involved.
