Hockey Benders Fall Classic Champions!
Congratulations to the U14A LaSalle Sabres for winning their first tournament of the season, The Hockey Benders Fall Classic! The boys began with 2 dominating wins on Friday, followed by a bit of adversity on Saturday with a 3-3 tie and dramatic comeback win late in the semi-final game. But the drama was not over; with 1.1 seconds remaining and the goalie pulled the Sabres tied the championship game 2-2. Less than 30 seconds later, the Sabres scored an instant classic to win the tournament in overtime. It was a great weekend full of fun on and off the ice. LET'S GO SABRES!!
