Congratulations to the U14A LaSalle Sabres for being selected as one of January's OMHA teams of the month! The team of the month program is aimed at recognizing minor hockey teams in the province making a positive impact on the ice and in their communities who demonstrate all of the positives that hockey has to offer. This award isn’t about going undefeated during the month or scoring hat tricks, it’s about stories of teamwork and perseverance, leadership and being good role models in and around the rink. The U14A team is proud to cooperate with the LaSalle Fire Department this year to collect toys for Sparky's Toy Drive! There will be a collection table set up at the Vollmer Complex on Sunday December 1st 2024 from 12pm - 6pm. Please consider bringing a toy to the rink with you to contribute to this great cause. Congratulations to the U14A LaSalle Sabres for winning their first tournament of the season, The Hockey Benders Fall Classic! The boys began with 2 dominating wins on Friday, followed by a bit of adversity on Saturday with a 3-3 tie and dramatic comeback win late in the semi-final game. But the drama was not over; with 1.1 seconds remaining and the goalie pulled the Sabres tied the championship game 2-2. Less than 30 seconds later, the Sabres scored an instant classic to win the tournament in overtime. It was a great weekend full of fun on and off the ice. LET'S GO SABRES!!

Thank you to everyone who tried out for the U14 A LaSalle Sabres this year. As a coaching staff we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of players and people who attended this year!We had some very difficult decisions to make, and everyone who tried out should be extremely proud of themselves, we saw a lot of great hockey this week. Please read below for the final roster for the 2024/2025 U14 LaSalle Sabres.We highly encourage any players not listed below to attend second team tryouts, and we will hopefully see some of you at practice in the fall as well.
