Dear Members of the LMHA:
You have no doubt by now heard of the recent September 1st announcement from the province regarding protocols for use of various facilities across Ontario.
In this ever-changing environment we are in, we are at this time preparing an arena protocol/use message for our members and will meet with the Vollmer staff Tuesday next week for the purpose of providing the best possible clarity regarding these protocols. The safety of our participants is of the utmost importance.
We have also contacted the OMHA for a response regarding the provincial announcement and in particular, how it will affect both players and spectators. Direction from the local health unit will also have an impact on these protocols.
Keep an eye on our website for updated information. In the meantime, our LMHA Board of Directors is diligently carrying on with the duties of and preparation for the upcoming hockey season.
