Former Coaches Battle It Out at Viper Game
On Wednesday, November 21st , the LaSalle Sabres Bantam Major
AA Boys gathered together to watch the LaSalle Vipers take on the
Leamington Flyers at the Vollmer.
This was not just a regular season match up but a game that featured two former coaches behind the benches. Zack Percy former Head Coach of the LaSalle team is now an Assistant Coach with the Leamington Flyers as well as Chad Shepley previous Assistant Coach of the LaSalle team who is now the Assistant Coach of our very own LaSalle Vipers.
The pre-game festivities included a pizza party and a visit from both coaches. The boys had a great time catching up and asking lots of questions. The big question of the night was who would have bragging rights when the game was finished? The boys were decked out in their LaSalle gear and could be seen down in the front rows banging on the glass throughout the entire game.
When the final buzzer sounded it was Coach Zack Percy’s Leamington Flyers who came out victorious! The LaSalle Sabres Bantam AA team would like to say thanks to the LaSalle Vipers organization for a great evening of hockey, also to Coach Zack and Coach Chad for the pre-game visit and for being such great role models to this group of boys. A great evening was enjoyed by all!!
