ATOM AE - Chatham Silverstick
In the tournament, we played against London in our first game. They were
a very good team, and although we lost 4-0, the boys gave a great
effort. The second game was against the best team in our division
Chatham, and we won 3-2. This game was our game of the tournament and
year! We were down 2-0 in the 3rd, and with only 3 minutes left we made
three quick and incredible goals. The boys left the game on a high, and
went on to win Saturday morning against Amhestburg 3-0 with a shutout
for our goalie! The two wins secured us a spot in the semi-finals,
seeding the team 3rd overall, but unfortunately we lost against Sarnia
6-1 Sunday morning. Even with the two loses, the boys and the goalies
played their hearts out. They should be proud of
themselves!
