Bantam AE, Travel Teams, 2013-2014 (LaSalle Minor Hockey Association)

The LaSalle Sabres Bantam AE have forced an additional game in the round robin play downs.   The Sabres won their last 3 games of the round robin and received some help from Belle River and Kent.  This allowed the Sabres to tie Windsor with 9 points in the round robin.  The "Win and Your In" game is scheduled for Wednesday February 12th at Adie Knox arena.  Game time is 7:30.

The Sabres Bantam AE were treated to the Spits game at Comerica Park by their sponsor, Scotiabank.   The time spent together building friendships and bonding will prove to be invaluable for the 2nd half of the season.

The LaSalle Sabres Bantam AE team had a very successful weekend in Nottawasaga. The Sabres got their offense going with an 11-2 win in the opening game vs Glanbrook Rangers.  Later that day, they played a very tough Milton Winterhawks and the Sabres came out on top of a 4-2 score.  On Saturday, they started by beating the Brampton Marlies by a 3-2 score and continued to dominate in a 5-0 win vs Glanbrook.   On Sunday, in the finals, they had a rematch with the Milton Winterhawks, unforturnately, the Sabres came out on the tail end of a 1-0 game.  This was an excellent weekend for ...

Bantam Sabres AE spent the day at Gesstwood Ropes course (Highly recommended activity for any team).  The day was filled with many team building activities stressing respect, discipline, decision making and communication.  A great way to start a hockey season!

We have confirmed our date for the Ropes Course at Gesstwood Camp. Thursday August 22nd at 9:30.  We will arrange car pool for the team for that day.   Players will be responsible to bring bagged lunch with reusable water bottles, sunscreen and BUG SPRAY.  Signed waiver form and health history form to be signed by parent and returned to me before we go. We have a parents meeting on Thursday June 27th at 8:30 at party room next to pool at the Vollmer. Once we receive the mailing list. An email will  be sent with further directions.

Welcome to all the members of the Bantam AE team for 2013/14.  Everybody worked very hard during tryouts and it made our decisions very difficult.   The coaching staff is currently reviewing our plan for the upcoming season and we plan on having a parent's meeting late next week to review our season plan and budget.  Looking forward to meeting many new hockey families.
