U15 HOUSELEAGUE WEEKEND OF CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT
The U15 Division will be hosting a weekend of Champions for the final weekend of our 2021-2022 Season!

This will encompass a Single Elimination Bracket Tournament to determine which teams will play for the U15 League Championship on Sunday March 27th.

Friday March 25
 
Game 1:  Black at Red (Capri Arena) 515pm
 
Saturday March 26
 
Game 2:  Winner Game 1 at Gold (Vollmer) 5pm
Game 3:  Sky Blue at Lime (Vollmer) 6pm

Tournament Rules

1.       OMHA Rules will apply

2.       Highest Seeded team is always the home team and will take home bench!  Home team has last change!!!  Game sheets will be provided – See Divisional Director at arenas.

3.       3 minute warm up with 30 second pause before puck drop.  30 second pause between periods.

4.       All bracket games will consist of 3 X 10 minute periods stop time.  No curfew.  If there is a 5-goal spread in 3rd period, the clock will run.  Once the running time starts, the only time the clock stops is for an injury or if goal spread goes back to 3.

5.       In the case of a tie at end of regulation time:

a.       3 on 3 - 5 minute running time periods, sudden victory.

b.       Any penalties with remaining time issued during regulation carry over, short- handed team will play with 2 players in overtime.

c.       Any minor penalties issued during overtime will serve full penalty time, offending team will play with 2 players.  IF A MAJOR PENALTY IS ISSUED IN OVERTIME, OFFENDING PLAYER IS EJECTED FOR DURATION OF GAME.

6.       Day of Champions Games

a.        Will follow Manual of Operations Guidelines (page 58).  All games will consist of 3 periods 10-10-15 stop time.  Curfew of 50 minutes for consolation games, no curfew for Championship game.  In the event of a tie at end of regulation of Championship, a 5 minute overtime period will take place.  If game winner is not determined at this point, a 5 man shoot out will take place.  Names of shoot out players to be submitted to Divisional director prior to game start.  If game remains tied after this, a rotating shoot out will take place using remaining players on the bench until all players have shot once.  Only then may the coaches start over with the original five players involved in the initial shoot out.

7.       Teams are allotted 1 - 30 second time out in the championship game only.

8.       A major fighting or gross misconduct penalty will result in player suspension from tournament.

9.       Any team official ejected from a game will also be suspended for the remainder of the tournament.

10.   Any disputes will be settled by Divisional Director or Vice President HL if Divisional Director in conflict and decision is FINAL.
