REFEREE TRYOUT ON MARCH 30, 2019, News (LaSalle Minor Hockey Association)

LaSalle Minor Hockey Association will be hosting a referee tryout on March 30th, 2019 at 10:00am on rink A at the Vollmer Recreation Complex.

The tryout will consist of an hour on-ice skating portion which will be followed by an off-ice written multiple choice test. 

Material will all be based from the OMHA rule book that can be found of the OMHA website under the referee tab in the resource section.

Equipment needed for on-ice portion:

·       Helmet

·       Skates

Requirements needed to become referee:

·       Resume submitted in person at tryout

·       Be able to attend OMHA Referee School in Windsor September 20-22, 2019

·       We are ONLY accepting individuals born in 2002, 2003 and 2004. This is the only way for those born in these years to start officiating.
