Submitted By Webmaster on Tuesday, January 1, 2019
It’s minor hockey night on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019 as the LaSalle Vipers host the St. Marys Lincolns at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex!

Any minor hockey league player – travel or house league – in Windsor and Essex County gets free admission to the 7 p.m. game as long as they’re wearing their team jersey.

Prior to the Christmas break, the Vipers are coming off a 10-game stretch with six wins, a tie, one OT loss, a single-goal loss and just one game in which they struggled – a 9-5 loss to conference-leading London. They started that run with a 6-4 road win over the Lincolns. The team picked up 14 of 20 points available and pulled into fifth place.  A.J. Ryan leads the team in scoring with 21 goals and 20 assists, followed by Kory Silverio, 39 points; Cody Schneider, 27, and Jack Bowler, 26.

The Lincolns are in ninth place in the conference with a 2-2 tie against St. Thomas in their last outing. Blair Butchart leads the team in scoring with 48 points, followed by Carson McMillan, 23, Joe Mazur, 21.
