SPARKY'S TOY DRIVE

Once again the LaSalle Sabres are joining with the Lasalle Fire Services to collect Toys for Sparky's Toy Drive.  Our toy drive will be taking place November 27th through December 12th.

Sparky and LaSalle Fire Service will be visiting the Tykes during their Practice on December 12 2017.

-Tykes will be accepted at their practices on December 2nd, 5th and 12th
-Midget Houseleague will be accepted Thursday November 30th before their games.

All others will be accepted during the following times
Saturday December 2nd 3pm - 7pm (Conveynors Room)
Tuesday December 5th 5pm-7pm (Conveynors Room)
Saturday December 9th 3:30pm-6:30pm (Inside Rink B)
Tuesday December 12th 5pm-7pm (Conveynors Room
 
or by contacting [email protected] to Coordinate (we can pick up at your practice)
 
Donations will be accepted in the form of new, unwrapped items, gift cards and cash donations. 
All donations are greatly appreciated, but please consider donating items for the older children (ages 11-14), typically donations are lacking for this age group.  

We are also Challenging all TEAMs to donate $2 per player towards gift cards.  
 
Last Year the Sabre Team Donations were fantastic!     I am confident we can surpass our Donations from last Year and help
"Give  back to our Community.... One family to another..."
 
Ideas for Donations.
One and Two Yearsblocks (Duplo), Little People, trucks, baby dolls(soft), board books, pull toys, musical toys, wood puzzles, winter wear (no coats)

Three and Four Years
Tonka, trucks, cars, blocks, 24 piece puzzles, simple Barbies, craft sets, play dishes, tool kits, winter wear (no coats), books, Dora & Diego items, dinosaurs, baby dolls, simple colouring books/ 8 crayons, My Little Pony, board games (Candy Land, Hungry Hippos, Gone Fishing,…)

Five and Six Years: trucks, cars, blocks, craft sets, Playdoh, books, 48 piece puzzles, Barbies, Nerf small sport balls, winter wear (no coats), socks, pyjamas, more detailed colouring books/16 or 24 crayons, board games (Chutes & Ladders)

Seven and Eight Yearsremote cars, LEGO, Barbie Fashionista, pyjamas, 100 piece puzzles, Nerf football/soccer, craft sets, hair “stuff”, art kits (markers, paints), books, Sketch pads, winter wear (no coats), board games (Connect               Four, Operation, checkers) Action figures, Hot Wheels cars and sets

Nine and Ten Years:
Monster High dolls, craft sets, hair “stuff”, pyjama pants, cuddly or slipper socks,simple jewelry, Nerf Blasters, LEGO sets, Bionicle blocks, remote cars, books, winter wear (no coats) board games (chess, Battleship, Jenga, Game of  Life, Apples, Yahtzee), journals, pens/markers/ art paper, sport balls

Eleven to Fourteen Years: Gift cards (maximum value of $25.00) to Cineplex Movies,  Devonshire Mall clothing stores teens would shop at, Subway, Tim Hortons;    craft sets, pyjama pants, toiletries such as shower gel, body wash (AXE for boys), toothbrushes, lip gloss, (no makeup) jewelry, winter wear (no coats), books, wallets, small umbrellas, socks
