HOMETOWN HOCKEY TOUR
Submitted By Vice President on Saturday, November 5, 2016
As you might have heard, Windsor was officially announced as a stop on the Hometown Hockey Tour! The event date is November 19 & 20 and we will hold it at Festival Plaza.

The times will be: Saturday, November 19 from noon to 6pm and Sunday November 20, from noon to 10pm, with a special Sportsnet Broadcast at 7pm Sunday featuring Ron MacLean and co-host Tara Slone.

This is exciting news for our community and I look forward to working with you and the organizers to make it the best one yet.

We would like to invite all hockey players to attend this free, family friendly festival.  There will giveaways, contests, interactive stations, concerts and a viewing party.  We encourage all teams to wear their jerseys while onsite.

We would also like to get as many teams as possible to stay for the live Sportsnet broadcast starting around 7pm on Sunday November 20.  The game being broadcast will be Calgary at Detroit and during the pre-game and intermissions, the broadcast will show a live feed from Festival Plaza with Ron and Tara.

We want to make sure Festival Plaza is packed with our community members every time they show a clip.
