The LMHA Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Weekend Hockey Tournaments for an exciting and successful tournament this weekend past.
Special thanks to our Treasurer Lindsay Theissen, Registrar Charlene Lawson, Referee in Chief Wayne Nelson, President Don Durham, and Vice President Brian Green for the behind the scenes work in executing and planning for a successful weekend.
Congratulations are in order for all of our LaSalle Minor Hockey Association teams who saw success this weekend!
Our U13 Division saw the Grey Team advance to the Championship Final which saw a competitive battle with a very solid Sarnia Sting Team. In the U15 Division, the Red team advanced to the semi finals, unbeaten in the round robin phase, for a tough match up with a strong Windsor Minor Hockey Association team. Finally our U15 Grey team captured the U15 Championship in an exciting overtime win against Windsor Minor Hockey Association U15 Green.
