REMEMBRANCE DAY POPPY FUNDRAISER
Minor Hockey Remembrance Day Poppy Fundraiser:

Remembrance Day is a time for Canadians to honour the selfless sacrifice of the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve to protect peace and freedom around the world. The Windsor AAA Zone and its teams join in the celebration of Remembrance Day by wearing The Poppy in the form of a helmet sticker. These stickers are worn from the last week in October through to the weekend of Remembrance Day. The Poppy is worn on the back left part of the helmet or on the left side and is respectfully removed after the end of those few weeks.

LMHA will be participating in a Remembrance Day Fundraiser that the Windsor AAA U15 team is running on behalf of our minor hockey community. If you are interested in participating, please bring in a $2 minimum donation to your coach and wear your Poppy helmet sticker from October 28 through to Remembrance Day with pride. Show you support for all the brave Canadians who have served and sacrificed for the peace and freedom we enjoy!

Coaches - Please reach out to Nick Swiatoschik at [email protected] and to LMHA VP Travel, Randy Levac, at [email protected] by Sunday, October 16th with the quantity stickers you would like to obtain for your team.  Then, email Randy Levac to make arrangements to hand in the collected donations by October 24th.  The stickers will be available after October 26th from Randy.
