Congratulations to the U15 AE Team on winning the Bluewater League Championship!
The Sabres were undefeated in the Bluewater playoff round robin to finished at the top of the pool by defeating Kent on Friday night 6-1.
The Sabres had a great Bluewater Championship weekend of hockey. In the Semi-Finals on Saturday, the Sabres played Essex-Southpoint and came away with a 4-0 victory to qualify for the Day of Champs. In the Finals, the Sabres faced an improving Windsor team where the boys came out strong, were hard on the puck with a fearless forecheck winning the Final 5-0. The Sabres played great team defense and had awesome goaltending from the best tandem in the league, Mikey and Devon in winning this Championship.
The team has had an amazing year so far and are looking forward to the OMHA Championship tournament next weekend in Barrie. Let's go Sabres and finish what we started.
