A reminder that
ALL LMHA volunteers (coaches, trainers, managers and on-ice helpers) are required to submit a valid police clearance. Volunteers can apply online (
https://www.policesolutions.ca/checks/services/lasalle/login.php for LaSalle residents) or in-person at your local police service. LMHA will reimburse the fee associated to obtaining a police clearance.
A police clearance is valid for three years, however a declaration must be completed by volunteers for years two and three. For the 2021-2022 season, those volunteers who previously submitted a clearance to LMHA (2019 or more recent), must complete the "Police Declaration", located under the "Coaches" tab on the LMHA website or by clicking
here. Thank you to those who have already completed this.
Volunteers who have not submitted a valid police clearance by Friday December 10, 2021 will NOT be allowed on the ice, bench or dressing room.
If you are an LMHA volunteer and are unsure about whether you need to obtain a new police clearance or to complete the declaration, please contact LMHA Mission and Ethics Director, Shawn Zivanov, at
[email protected].
