VOLLMER PROTOCOL UPDATES FOR PROTECT (YELLOW) STAGE AND PROTOCOL REMINDERS
Submitted By Webmaster on Thursday, November 19, 2020
As  per the the Provincial Government announcement that beginning Monday, November 16th, Windsor-Essex will be moving to the Protect (Yellow) stage.

With this move, the Windsor Essex County Health Unit has mandated that for participants that are 18 and over, no parent or any other individual is allowed to accompany them.

Players UNDER the age of 18 are still permitted to have 1 person accompany them.

The media statement from WECHU regarding this change in protocol can be found here:  https://www.wechu.org/media-statements/media-statement-regarding-additional-requirements-above-and-beyond-provincial

Please note some other reminders of the protocols in place at the Vollmer Recreational Complex.
  •     Meetings will not be permitted inside of the Vollmer Recreational Complex.
  •     With cold weather, players must wait in cars until the appropriate time to enter the Vollmerbuilding.  Entrance to the building will not be permitted until 15 minutes before the scheduled ice time.
  •     Please be sure to check the schedule carefully and plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled ice time.
  •     No food or drink other than water is allowed within the facility.  This includes parents and coaches.
