Atom Minor AA Wins Motown Cup
The LaSalle Sabres Atom Minor AA team competed in a Detroit Motown Cup in their own backyard over the weekend and were once again successful in bringing home a Championship. The Sabres came out flat and went down 2-0 in the finals after one period. They battled back against the talented gritty Oakville Rangers 2005 team and scored three goals in the second period. The Sabres were able to hold the Oakville team scoreless in the 3rd period and escaped with the Championship.
