Niagara Falls Early Bird Tournament, Sept 6-8
Great Start to the Season! The Bantam Major AA team made a great showing at their first tournament of the year at the Niagara Falls Early Bird Tournament finishing second overall. The Sabres won their first game 3-1 against the Streetsville Tigers. They came back strong after a loss to the Oakville Rangers, to win their third game against the Pickering Panthers to advance to the semi-finals on Sunday. The LaSalle Sabres won the semi-final game against the Windsor Junior Spitfires advancing to the finals. It was a tough loss to the Oakville Rangers in the finals however, it was a great showing early in the season and we are proud of the boys and the effort they put forth!
Some of the weekend highlights include: watching the LaSalle Vipers vs Stratford Warriors game in Pelham, a team bbq, and team meals in the Hard Rock Club overlooking the falls.
