What a great weekend!! The boys went undefeated into the Championship game. 1 to 0 vs the Buffalo Bissons, 3 to 1 against the Orangeville Flyers, 6 to 0 vs the Soo Jr. Greyhounds and 2 to 1 against the Orangeville Flyers in an overtime victory in the semifinal. Next was the Championship Game!
We ran into a tough Halton Hills team for the Championship who really stepped up their game during their semifinal vs Belleriver and the game against us. We battled to the end, scoring with 7 seconds left in the game but bowed to a good Halton Hills team 3 to 1. We are very proud of our boys this weekend, they played great. Besides hockey the boys competed in an all out battle at the race track. It was "no sympathy" Go Cart racing for the players, staff and some of the parents. If you gave an inch, you were going into the wall. What a blast! Thank you to all of the staff, parents and most of all, our boys, for a great weekend!!!!! Go Sabres
