Champions! Pickering Midget Madness Tournament
Champions once again! For the third time this season, the Midget Major AA have won in tournament play. On the weekend of December 5-7 the team took the Midget Madness tournament in Pickering, with a record of 5-1. With some of the best AA team in Ontario participating, and the boys playing 6 games in 48 hrs, it was quite a feat. The Sabres outplayed every opponent they faced, and had to defeat 5th ranked Pickering twice to capture the Championship.
The team has captured the Championship of all three tournaments that they have played in, with an overall record of 14-1, and scoring 65 goals in tournament play, with every player recording at least 1 point, and each goalie recording at least 1 shut-out! What a team effort! Congratulations to all the boys, well played!
