Lasalle vs Russia
On December 31 the Bantam Minor team played an exhibition game at the Vollmer against a team from Belgorod, Russia. After exchanging gifts with the other players prior puck drop, the game was on. The Russian team ultimately won the game 5-1 but both teams seemed to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. After the game the Lasalle team hosted a pizza lunch for the 2 teams as well as the billet families. We quickly learned that the word pizza translates into any language!!
